I took some pictures with a 35mm camera yesterday. I hadn't done that for a long time. It was kind of weird, but I think I could get used to it.

That's all for now.

Best,
Jim

sorry.
fujicolor 100
pentax lx with a cheapo ricoh 55mm/f 2.2

i'm going to try to get a better lens one of these days, but they've gotten more expensive recently. apparently people are buying old pentax 50mm lenses because they make a good portrait lens on the new pentax DSLRs.

"you heart slow lenses"

not true. it's just what i have, and yes, it is wicked slow. it was also wicked cheap, so i didn't feel bad about buying it as a temporary replacement for the f3.5 28-70mm zoom lens that was my only lens for this camera before. one of these days i'm going to ebay a regular pentax 50mm/f1.7 or something like like it. like i mentioned above, they have gotten more expensive recently.

"steal a f1"

does such a thing exist in the realm of manual focus pentax k mount lenses? that would be awesome. the fastest i've seen is 1.6. 1.7 is common. i haven't done much looking.
where do you propose i steal it from? most camera stores around here HATE cameras that use film, and none of them like pentax.
